PV Night Snorkel Adventure

Slip into the water off Puerto Vallarta after dark and watch Banderas Bay turn into a different world. With underwater lights below you, the usual reef shadows give way to quick flashes of movement, and the experience can feel especially memorable when octopus, lobster, and bioluminescence appear in the beam. Because it is a night outing, the mood is quieter and more unusual than a daytime snorkel, and that alone makes it stand out if you have already spent the day in port. This is an easy, two-hour excursion with very low walking and low return risk, so it fits well into a cruise schedule. There is no transport included, so you will need to make your own way to the meeting point in Puerto Vallarta. Heat is moderate, crowds are moderate, and bathrooms are only moderate, so keep expectations simple and arrive ready to go. It is a good fit for families, couples, solo travelers, and groups, especially if you want something low-effort but different. If you are uneasy in dark water, this may not be your best choice.
