Alaska SeaLife Center Visit

Visit Alaska's premier marine research facility and public aquarium, located right on the Seward waterfront. The center houses rescued seabirds, Steller sea lions, harbor seals, and octopus in habitats designed for both rehabilitation and public education. Underwater viewing windows let you watch sea lions swim at eye level. The center is within walking distance of the cruise terminal. It is entirely indoors, making it the perfect rainy-day activity. Allow about two hours to see everything. Behind-the-scenes tours and animal encounter programs are available for an additional fee. This is the best family-friendly option in Seward and pairs well with independent exploration of town.
